Accepting Applications for the Interdisciplinary Approaches to Cancer Metastasis Workshop

Applications for the Interdisciplinary Approaches to Cancer Metastasis are now being accepted. This workshop, jointly hosted by Sage Bionetworks and the NCI, is targeted at early stage investigators  (within 15 years of terminal degree) that are able to receive funding via respective home institutions working in the fields of cancer metastasis, technology development, computational modeling and informatics approaches, systems biology, and physical science-oncology.

Workshop participants will form teams to develop pilot project ideas before and during the workshop. Discussions will be facilitated by distinguished scientist “mentors” who will assist in articulating project ideas. Sage Bionetworks has secured funds up to $300,000 in total that will be available for awarding a number of highly meritorious projects.
